Customer photos

When you choose a photo inside a CMEINIT try-on tool, the browser prepares a reduced-size copy for the requested preview. When you ask CMEINIT to create a finished look, that image is transmitted through CMEINIT's Supabase Edge Function to Google's Gemini image-generation service.

CMEINIT does not write the uploaded customer photo or the generated customer result into the CMEINIT business database as part of the current preview flows. The image is used to fulfill the requested preview and returned to the browser.

Google's handling of data submitted to its service is governed by Google's applicable service terms and privacy practices. CMEINIT does not make a separate promise about a third-party provider's retention beyond CMEINIT's own system behavior.

Permission to use a photo

Only upload a photo that you are authorized to use. Businesses offering CMEINIT to customers are responsible for presenting this notice before a customer requests an image-generation preview.

CMEINIT uses the image to create the requested visual preview. The current tools are not intended to identify a person, authenticate identity, or create a biometric identity profile.

Business workspace data

The private Workspace stores business-account membership, assigned tool status, business-owned tool data, and business assets needed to operate the assigned CMEINIT experience. Access is restricted through Supabase authentication and row-level authorization rules.

What this notice covers

This page describes the behavior of the current CMEINIT preview implementation. It should be updated whenever photo retention, providers, business data storage, or customer-facing workflows change.
